Level 1 Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health

This course aims to provide learners with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions and the skills to start a conversation and signpost the person towards professional help. This course will include online materials, tutor support, assessment and certification. This course can be delivered face to face in 4 hours, or online via one 2 hour Zoom session, followed by independent learning and a Zoom-based assessment.

Certification

Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health certificate will be issued to the learner, subject to successful assessment.

The Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health is a comprehensive course that builds on the content of the Level 1 course. In addition to covering the fundamentals of mental health first aid, this course delves deeper into the impact of drugs and alcohol, introduces the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan, and explores strategies for cultivating a positive mental health culture in the workplace. This course can be delivered in person over the course of a single day, or it can be conducted online through two 2-hour sessions that include independent learning followed by an assessment session.

The course fee of £105 per person, exclusive of VAT, includes all materials, tutor support, assessment, and certification. Upon successful completion of the assessment, learners will receive a First Aid for Mental Health certificate. The course carries a total qualification time (TQT) of 7 hours.

Level 3 Supervising First Aid for Mental Health

This course details a wide range of mental health conditions and the support and help provided by healthcare professionals. It covers the content of Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications but is aimed at the supervisor level within the workplace. This is a two-day face-to-face course or can be delivered via distance learning over three 2 hour sessions, with independent learning time, followed by an assessment session. This course is inclusive of all materials, tutor support, assessment and certification.
