Assertiveness is a critical skill that involves expressing thoughts, emotions, and beliefs in a confident, respectful manner, while also respecting the rights of others. In this training course, participants will learn how to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues in an assertive manner, leading to positive outcomes.

Through a variety of interactive activities, participants will develop an assertive mindset, learn how to manage difficult personalities, and deliver their messages with confidence. They will also learn how to recognize assertive, aggressive, and passive behaviours and build better relationships by applying assertiveness skills.

The training can be customized to meet specific needs and will cover topics such as the definition of assertive behaviour, the benefits and barriers of assertive behaviour, techniques for being assertive, and identifying different assertive behaviours. Participants will also learn how to communicate assertively, create win-win outcomes, and approach difficult situations with mastery of emotions.

This course is suitable for individuals or teams who want to improve their assertiveness skills and communicate with clarity and confidence. It can be delivered in-house at a company location or off-site and can accommodate between 1 and 12 participants per session. The course is one day in length and can be scheduled at a time that is convenient for the team.
